Ever watch the movie based on John Steinbeck's novel, "The Grapes of Wrath"?

I didn't think so.

You probably never heard of the Pulitzer Prize winning author, either. Well, they had an amazing assortment of trucks and cars from the era that it was set in. (The 30's and the depression).

Here's a few:

Autocar truck.

1937 Harley WL

1930 Buick Series 60

1937 Buick Century

1931 Model A truck (That inspection station is still there on the NM/AZ border).

1926 Hudson Super Six

1935 Packard Super Eight

1930 Whippett Four (Model 96A)

Autocar is a pretty cool company, founded in 1897 and not all that popular yet it still exists.

Yes, I did use IMCDB to verify the makes and models. The movie was the motivation. I have used all of the IMDB sites for a long time to verify stuff. Nothing new.

They were quite popular in Michigan (for gravel haulers, mostly) when I lived there, years ago. Do they still run them there?

I don't remember much..I know the book was good, but the movie was probably meh because I don't remember much about it.
